Collected Personal Data

Your name, email address, phone number and anything you choose to tell us when you use the contact form on this website, email us, call us or send us a WhatsApp message. If you book a consultation or join our programme, we also keep notes from your sessions and information about your health and wellbeing, including information about addiction, plus the health and safety records needed for our wellbeing therapies. Information about your health is extra sensitive, so we only collect it with your consent and only use it to support you.

Purpose for Collecting Data

We use your information to reply to your messages, arrange and carry out consultations, sessions and therapies, keep accurate and safe records of the support we give you, and meet our legal and insurance responsibilities. We will never sell your information or share it for advertisers.

How your information is received and stored
Messages sent through the contact form on this website come to our email account (info@theinsidemethod.co.uk), provided by IONOS. WhatsApp messages are received on our WhatsApp Business account. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and messages are protected by end-to-end encryption. Paper records are kept in a locked filing cabinet that only Sara can access.

Free 7-Day Plan and emails
If you sign up for our free 7-Day Plan, your name, email address and phone number are stored securely by MailerLite, our email provider. We use these to send you the plan, to give you a follow-up call, and to send occasional emails with news, tips and updates from The Inside Method. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop calling or emailing you at any time. How long we keep your information
If you have a free consultation and do not go on to join the programme, any notes from that consultation are securely destroyed. If you become a client, your records, including any therapy and health and safety records, are kept securely for 6 years after your programme ends and then securely destroyed. Emails and messages are deleted when they are no longer needed.

Who we share your information with
Everything you share is kept private and confidential. We only share your information if you ask us to, if you agree to it (for example, a referral for detox support), or if the law requires it, such as when someone’s safety is at serious risk.

Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, ask us to delete your information, and withdraw your consent at any time. Just contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
